Dear Tourism,
You have never just been my career. You've been my one true companion for more than 30 years.
I’m Tabetha Beggs, founder of Dear Tourism, Love Tab, a boutique consultancy helping destinations and organisations develop stronger places, richer visitor experiences and meaningful industry connections.
Having worked across Tourism WA, local government, regional tourism, destination marketing and creative industries, I bring strategic thinking together with creativity, collaboration and a genuine love of people and place.
Whether I’m developing a tourism strategy, facilitating a workshop, creating compelling content or simply helping uncover what makes a destination truly unique, every project begins with a conversation.
Because tourism shouldn't feel manufactured. It should feel like a discovery. Sometimes by accident. Sometimes intentionally.
And sometimes that takes a little digging.
Whether your project needs the equivalent of an archaeological excavation to uncover the gold, or simply needs the dust blown off and a good polish, I’m here for it.
Let’s chat.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY
Tourism is about more than visitor numbers. It is an opportunity to celebrate the extraordinary places we share, while also caring for them, nurturing them and leaving them better for the generations who follow.
With that responsibility at the heart of my work, I acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waters across Australia, and recognise their enduring connection to Country, culture and community.
I pay my respects to Elders past and present, and to the generations of Aboriginal people who have cared for Country for tens of thousands of years. And those who will carry this knowledge into the future.
In my work, I hope to do more than acknowledge. I want to listen, learn and walk alongside Aboriginal people; to respect the stories and knowledge that are theirs to share; and to tread carefully on the lands, waterways, forests and deserts that make this country so extraordinary.
With respect, kindness and gratitude.
